Overview

In this case study research paper authors including Sue Reilly, focus on one of the three buildings: the Fallon Federal Building in Baltimore. Presented is a relatively quick energy audit assessment and model calibration process that resulted in investment grade calculations for a number of EEMs

Results

We suggest that the cost of the audit and analysis should be considered relative to the total life-cycle value of energy conservation measures. For a typical audit, the cost of the analysis should not significantly increase the simple payback period or life-cycle, net present value of recommended energy conservation measures.
